Tourist Speed Boat Sinks Off Pattaya..

From Pattaya One News is a story of yet another group of tourists being rescued off a sinking tourist speed boat this time in Pattaya Bay. According to the boat captain a crack appeared in the hull as the boat was returning to Bali Hai Port. The boat operator claimed it was from “rough sea’s”. A nearby pleasure boat rescued 8 Turkish tourists and the boat captain. Attempts to tow the boat were unsuccessful as the boat sank. Port authorities determined that the hull of the boat was recently repaired which may be connected to the sinking.

Commentary: I’ve said it before. Just write the name “Death Wish” on the back of all those tourist speed boats. As for rough sea’s cracking the hull? I’m thinking perhaps the boat hit a submerged rock? And as for the recent hull repairs remind me not to use that boat mechanic.
