Chinese Tourists Stranded on Jet-Ski for 5 Hours..

From Pattaya One News is the story of a couple of young Chinese tourists that had rented a jet-ski on Larn Island on Saturday. They decided to explore some nearby islands and within minutes the engine cut out. This left them stranded in an area not commonly used by pleasure boats and as a result floated in the ocean for 5 hours before they were rescued by a fishing boat. They Chinese were returned to Bali Hai port a bit sunburned but otherwise in good shape. The Marine Department will visit the jet-ski operator to inspect their operation.

Commentary: Now you think the jet-ski operator might have contacted someone when their rental was gone for several hours? No word on whether the jet-ski operator will bill the Chinese tourists for breaking the jet-ski. No doubt it was in tip top order when they rented it. But seriously using a jet-ski to go visit nearby islands probably isn’t the best of idea’s. At least the tourists will have an exciting tale to tell. They just need to mention they were surrounded by sharks and a hungry saltwater crocodile to give their story that extra edge.. lol..
