Drunk British Tourist Beaten by Bangkok Bar Bouncers...
Pattaya One News reports that the Tourist Police have stepped up their presence on Khao San Road and done a thorough inspection after the recent beating of a British tourist by bar bouncers two nights ago.
In the incident, which happened at about 1am on Wednesday morning, bar bouncers denied entry to four British tourists because they were already intoxicated and carrying drinks from another establishment. According to police, after being denied entry, the Brits snuck into the bar’s toilets and made a mess, throwing beer around and disturbing other customers. They had to be physically removed from the bar and then the fight happened in the street.
Other tourists, however, suspected this explanation to be the ‘usual lying nonsense.’ The two bouncers Preecha Pansombun, 30, and Jinanuwat Saidee, 23, were each fined THB2,000 and sentenced to two months prison, suspended for one year. Both were both also fired. The four tourists each received THB 10,000 from the bar.
