Motorcyclist snatches South Korean’s necklace in Pattaya

Thai Visa News reports that a South Korean tourist was left helpless as his 150,000 Baht gold necklace was snatched by a motorcyclist on a Pattaya road late Tuesday night, police said. The tourist, Kim Min Yan, 42, and his Thai girlfriend, filed a complaint at Pattaya Police Station at about 1.30am on Wednesday. Kim said he and his girlfriend were on two motorcycle taxis en route to Soi Pattaya Beach 5 when a motorcycle caught up with his taxi and the rider snatched his necklace. He said the motorcyclist fled towards Pattaya Beach.   The South Korean said he bought the pendant necklace in South Korean for five million won, or about 150,000 Baht.
